Auctions are governed by

Contract Law

Auctions aren't covered by the Sale of Goods Act. So we need to make contract for every auction!

There are terms and conditions you must agree to for every auction you participate in. The text that follows is an abridged version of our terms and conditions and should not be considered legally binding.

Typical Pickup Deadlines

  • Auction Time: Sunday, lots start closing at 10am
  • Pickup DeadlineFriday after the Auction
  • Late Fees StartMonday, one week after the Auction
  • Extended Pickup HoursMonday-Friday after the Auction by Appointment - 8am-3pm (2:30 last appointment).
  • Regular Business HoursMonday-Friday, 9am-3pm
  • Late Pickup Fees: $50/week

Registration & Payment

  • We sell everything as-is, where is, with no guaranties or warranties.
  • Our system only accepts Visa or Mastercard. Other forms of payment are not compatible.
  • Our system preauthorizes your payment method with a $1 hold.
  • We charge a 20% buyers premium on all sales at our auctions. This is additional to your hammer price, and tax is charged on it as well.
  • All our communication is sent via email. The only way to receive your invoice is via email, so please make sure you aren't reporting our emails as junk or spam. 
  • You must pay in full before you can take any lots with you.

Kwik Tested

  • We are determined to go above and beyond any used restaurant equipment dealer in the country to make sure you know exactly what you're buying.
  • We appraise every item and list its condition under "Conditions" in the lot notes. We will highlight key fuctions that work or don't work, and any cosmetic issues with the item.
  • This section is all about limitations. We do our best to determine condition, quality, and etc. We are, however, not licensed technicians, we don't perform warranty-approved work, we don't do extensive testing, we don't test for safety or long-term performance, and we don't have a gas line to test gas functions.
  • An item that is 'Kwik-Tested' does not mean it is covered by any warranty or guarantee.

  • We partner with a logistics company that ships to Canada and the Continental US.
  • We are not a shipping company. All shipping is done at your risk.
  • Even if you find your own shipping solution, you may be charged a fee for preparing your invoice items for shipping. There are costs associated with packaging materials, protective materials, pallets, boxes, and labour.


  • We offer storage.
